Eating habits and sample daily menu: Ben can’t cook for the life of him. Simple. He’s almost set fire to tea towels on multiple occasions, but somehow he always manages on fruit or snacks if no-ones there to cook for him? He’ll eat just about anything as long as it tastes good. Most of the time he’s pretty unwilling to try anything new so he sticks to the same things.

Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging: Spending time with people (usually Mal) as a lot of the time before hand he was at college or reading or something else and he loves the time he gets with other people. And he’s all for indulgence, because it makes him happy.

Makeup? None…unless you count the numerous pain splatters from Mal’s apartment?

Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? I don’t think he seems to identify himself? He’s young and Mal is his first proper relationship and it didn’t seem to bother him that he was a guy. I guess the fact that he’d never really had feelings for other people before made it easier for him. The way he was brought up meant he never really had to deal with that sort of thing anyway, so I think Ben’s just on the side of ‘You love who you love’ I guess.

Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.): Does A grade idiot count? But no, I don’t think so…

Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress: I’m assuming this means clothes, because it’s worded strangely but he likes to be semi smart; he’ll wear shirts and occasionally hats but he’ll wear jeans too. He doesn’t really own many fancy clothes but he tries to make himself look presentable.

How do they see themselves 5 years from today? The thing about Ben is that he doesn’t like to look too far ahead. He’s never been certain and he doesn’t like to have too big of an expectation for himself in case it never happens, or he can’t do it. It’s likely he just hopes he’s still living and nothing’s gone wrong. Simple things that he has more of a chance of succeeding at.

Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy? Okay so, pre-disaster period, Brooke was his best friend and, in many ways, his worst enemy. Although, Cassie was pretty close to the mark on the best friend front. Post this, however, Brooke’s become more of an enemy and Ben still probably see’s Cass as his best friend, even if she does hit him a lot for being stupid.

If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal? He likes simple. He wouldn’t want huge romantic gestures or declarations of love on their part. He’d just want peaceful and calm and he’d want to take his time to realise it? He loves people who don’t always let him get his own way; sometimes he needs to be told that he’s wrong and stupid and stubborn and someone who’s willing to laugh at him and with him and not be scared to hurt his feelings, because they probably wouldn’t.
